I was very pleased with the profesionalism of Casey Robinson and KV Solar Supply. The communications with Casey and his communications with the City of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power during the application, permit, and rebate process has been excellent. The system is terrific.
I saved the money to pay for the system outright. I probably would not have spent that money for this residence without incentives because in a few years I intend to build a very efficient home with renewable sources of energy. This experience now is highly valuable toward my plans for the future.

Casey and his crew provided the BEST experience I have ever had with a contractor. He came highly recommended, and he exceeded my expectation in all areas. Always on time, always available for contact, and kept to schedule in spite of significant weather issues. Great experience overall!
Financial payback over time is crucial - without incentives I would not have installed a system. Longevity of the solar panels was the other key factor. I expect this system to be producing power after I retire, which will help with finances at that point in life.

Job could not have gone smoother. Throughout the entire process, from initial bid to completion, we were confident that we had hired the right people for the job. Casey and his team (Micah and Nathan) left our home spotless every evening. We are amazed at how unobtrusive the panels are. KV Solar Supply is a SUPERIOR small business. No sales pitch & all my questions were answered clearly in layman`s terms. All paperwork with the electric company was handled by Casey as well as the CA.tax credit. There was no "overrun" as some contractors do. They left a clean worksite and the crew was very friendly. Great product and professional installation. With rebates and tax credit it was attractive but two factors really convinced us. Bear in mind that we are in our mid 60s, so we may not see the payback in our life-time. 1) For the last several years, each year our kW-hr usage dropped but our electric bills kept increasing. We felt that this would continue into future. So payback might occur sooner than with current rates. and 2) We just felt that it was the right thing to do. | |

We have engaged many contractors in doing home improvement. KV Solar responded from the first intitial request through follow up after installation in a prompt manner (both via phone and e-mail) everytime we contacted Mr. Robinson. All dealings were very professional and honest. The timliness, quality of work and clean up after installation was the best we have ever had on any project.

It has been 4 months since completion. Edison lost paper work wtice. Cal state lost part of the paperwork and we re-sent it upon notification by fax and still have not received our rebate. Contractor was GREAT. Utility and state very poor response. | |
